Douglas Hirth, MD
Dr. Douglas August Hirth is a General Surgeon in Grand Junction, Colorado. He graduated with honors from State University Of New York At Stony Brook, School Of Medicine in 2013 and completed General Surgery Residency at University of Colorado in 2018. Since residency he has been practicing at General Surgeons of Western Colorado where has been a pioneering surgeon in the adoption of robotic minimally invasive hernia repair and colorectal surgery both in bringing these techniques to the Western Slope and in teaching them to other surgeons. He has also taken an active role in Trauma Surgery Service at Saint Mary's Medical Center and is the Trauma Medical Director.
When he is not providing surgical services to the people of Western Colorado, Dr. Hirth enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife and three children. Dr. Hirth affiliates with many hospitals including St. Mary's Medical Center, Colorado Canyons Hospital And Medical Center, Grand River Hospital, VA Western Colorado Health Care and cooperates with many other doctors and specialists in medical group Colorado Surgical Affiliates LLC and within the Grand Junction medical community.
