Ariel Girodo, PA-C

Ariel Girodo joined Colorado Surgical Affiliates in August of 2022. Although she is a Grand Junction native, she has acquired her education and certifications from many institutions across the country. These include Colorado State University, San Diego State University, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School, as well as Colorado Mesa University.

Her education has helped shape her belief in patient healing through exploring not only medicine but also health and wellness. With her extensive studies and experience, she has had the great opportunity to practice as a dietitian and exercise physiologist prior to PA school. She believes this has helped shape her into the well-rounded PA she is today. Ariel is incredibly driven and is most passionate about being able to help others for her profession. She knows that with her profession she is often seeing her patients on their worst days and being able to make a difference in their life is fulfilling to her as a provider.

In her free time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends. Ariel has a Golden Retriever named Sophie, who is a certified therapy dog. With this certification, Ariel and Sophie plan on going to local health care facilities with hopes to bring joy and comfort to fellow community members. Ariel also loves to get active and explore the outdoors. Some of her favorite hobbies are Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, Hiking, Running, and Traveling.

Being a PA to Ariel means she is part of an interdisciplinary team. She values the fact that she has the opportunity to work with colleagues to provide the highest level of care to patients. She is very personable, as she tries to see her patients concerns through their lens to get a better understanding of how she can be a part of their care.
